US deals: Panasonic 20mm for $329 (and 45-175mm X lens at Amazon and BHphoto).
The most requested of all Micro Four Thirds lenses has seen a price drop at Vanns (now $329 Click here) and Amazon ($336 Click here). That price drop made jump the lens on first position at the Amazon mirrorless ranking sales (Click here).
The new X-lenses: The white 45-175mm X lens is in Stock at Amazon (Click here) and BHphoto (Click here). The black version is in Stock at BHphoto (Click here) only. The Black 14-42mm X lens is “temporarely out of Stock” at Amazon (Click here). The white 14-42mm X lens is in Stock via Japanese third party resellers on Amazon (Click here). But you have to pay an extra $150 for it.
Hot deal reminder: The Olympus E-P2 body is in Stock for $299 only at Amazon (Click here). That’s definitely one of the best deals I have ever seen.

7 months ago |Sounds like Panasonic is doing a little bit better distributing the X lenses than they did with the 25mm. That’s good news!

25 mm Leica – buy
20 mm Pana – buy
12 mm Oly – buy
7-14 mm Pana – buy
IMHO – no other MFT currently deserve a “buy” rating, if you want high image quality the 4 above lenses are it. I also use the 50 mm f2/0 FT with adapter, and it is superb. Leica 45 mm MFT macro not worth money, image quality is inferior to 50 mm (although Leica has better magnification without macro extender).

The telephotos are better on the olympus bodies with IBIS.

7 months ago |Thanks Admin! After sitting on the fence for some time I went ahead and ordered from Vans. I’m looking forward to the 20 1.7 being my walk-around lens on my E-PM1!
