3 years ago |I got the in-stock alert from nowinstock.net while in line at a Target – I had the camera ordered before I left the parking lot from my phone. I was frantically typing away. I got the 14-140 to add to my current setup (GF1, 20mm, 14-40, 100-300, flash). Overnight delivery of course.
I am happy to have got one, that is for sure. Who knows, maybe they will start appearing in stock everywhere soon and the supply will catch up . . . but I have a feeling if a ton of them are not already in the shipped pipeline to US, it could be a while.

3 years ago |well, I turned one back into the wild. I cancelled my order at B&H. Moments after ordering it (and posting here) the local shop called and said they got them in. I have been pestering them for a while and honestly I love to give them my business (and it meant I would have one in my hands today).
So, some lucky person at B&H got the one I almost had.
I have been shooting with it and wow. Just wow

I’ve bought a couple of these, despite my father’s advice.
I’ve tried them, they are good but they are definitely overpriced, a good cable tie would do the job, don’t waste your money on it, you will probably regret your purchase just like I did.
Just get a quality black cable tie, wrap it around the zoom ring, tighten it and then leave around 2~3 cm and cut the remains, then maybe put some tape around the edge and you are good to go!
The good thing about the cable tie is you could have them on all your lenses and on whatever rings you want, zoom or focus.
