4 months ago |I know it doesn’t account for all of the price difference, but US prices usually are without tax, which is added at checkout. In Europe, the prices usually include ~20 % tax.

Seen like everything point to a new GX is on it’s way .
Hopefully there is real breakthrough that worth to upgrade . The recent sensor technology that Pana declared is a must & with 1 stop ISO performance over GX1 is what I expect .

Just commenting on a bargain, here! That body for $209 was a steal!
I have an OMD too ..and to tell you the truth I am much more anticipating a new Olympus body. The OMD is impressive, although I take my GX1 when I want to travel light. I shoot stills only and have no interest in the largish GH3….
Looks like it will be some time before a Panasonic offers the GX update, tho.

Unfortunately not everybody can get such terrific deal outside US . Well I’m have no regret of paying full price for such great camera . To wait 1 year after , I would missed out important shots in my life that can’t be replace with $$$ .
I loved my silver GX & when look back all the photos taken with the camera , I feel extremely delighted with the camera’s image quality .
I did compared it with OMD photos & believe me , if you shot in raw & edit it for dynamic range ( Lumix weak point ) , the photos will truely stand up & shine .
