Does Olympus have thousands or millions of these in the distribution chain? Is anyone buying at these prices? I think that at $200 for the body, then they would sell quickly.

4 months ago |It is only $50 more than the E-PL3 and a far better camera. $449 really isn’t a bad price, not everything is about a sensor, the E-P3 is still one of the best handing m43′s cameras to date – I prefer to the OM-D that costs many times more.

Save on body, spend on lens.

4 months ago |The EM5 has been the only real gigantic leap forwards in the Olympus lineup. When prices for it start to drop then I’ll be interested. 5 axis IS is a huge deal. The absence of it is hurting EPL5. If Olympus would improve codec/frame rates and add legit mic/headphone inputs they could destroy GH3 sales. Minor things could have a huge impact in attracting the video crowd.

4 months ago |I’m with you on this one. As soon as the OMD drops a few hundred more I’ll pick one up. The IS will be awesome for all of my Canon FD lenses. OMD for stills and my GH2 for video seems like a winning combination to me.

4 months ago |The OMD (Sony manufactured) sensor has already made it into the EPl5 and EPM2. Once both the 5-way stabilization and the OMD sensor make it into some of the cheaper models, I plan to get one.

Personally the last three months I found out that E-PM1 with any m43 prime out-resolves OM-D with kit zoom.
