Still missing…
Would’nt the GH1 with 20mm 1.7 lens be favolous?
Made a availability check today and the camera is still not in stock anywhere. I do not know what Panasonic is waiting for. They announced the camera in March (March 3th!!!) and after 5 months most of you can’t still buy the camera. The camera received high ratings from various big websites (look at dpreview) and from US to Hong Kong nobody knows when there will be a camera in stock.
And finally what’s the sense of showing the 20mm 1.7 lens and then let the user wait for it since months and months? Please Panasonic tell us when you want to release definitely the lens!

3 years ago |The GH1 is readily available in the UK. Mine arrived on the 5th of June.

3 years ago |Agree that the LX3 has been at times impossible to locate at a retailers. Combined with the lack of GH1 availability it makes you wonder whether Panasonic is even a brand that should be considered in the future. For people in the U.S. talk is cheap.

3 years ago |Sounds just like Panasonic: I picked up my LX3 in late October of last year, with the hope of also getting the lens adapter, wide angle conversion lens and the ever-ready case. I’m still waiting for them to become available in the US. As much as I like the camera and would be tempted to buy a Micro Four Thirds model, Panasonic’s inability to deliver product would bias me towards an Olympus instead.

3 years ago |its a shame, the camera should be available at beggining of june!! now mid july and still nothing, panasonic does not seems to be very trustable, a lot of people is delaying works. I just ask panasonic: if you will release the gh1 in november, just say november as release date.
