Sony photographer talks about a Four Thirds NEX (must be an error?).

Sony photographer Clayton Nelson wrote a weird message on Facebook. Here is the text:

Mr. DebDeb (Editor’s note: his cat), photographed with my newly purchased Sony NEX 7 four thirds format digital camera. I took this with a fifty year old Nikon lens, used on the camera with a manual adaptor. I was amazingly surprised at the quality of the images that this camera renders, at 25.3 megapixels. The great thing about these cameras is that almost any lens from any camera can be used with the NEX cameras…. Next up? Shooting fashion with, on Amy Mohoric Snyderman, tomorrow…

We know he ist testing the new NEX-7r, so it’s common for him to receive brand new Sony cameras before the release. But I would be surprised to know that Sony made a sort of Four Thirds NEX camera! I guess this has to be an error! Or maybe the new NEX-7R has a Four Thirds sized sensor that can take both, APS-C format, square format and 4/3 format pics? Ok, just speculation for now, I still think he made a mistake. Or he is trying to confuse people because he leaked some NEX-7r info on Saturday…also possible!
