To bad…. the CONS list is longer than the PROS list!
I believe Sigma has little if not no chance against the GF1 and E-P1 duo. I am sure Sigma is now working on an interchangeable compact system to compete against MicroFourThirds!

3 years ago |yes, and no chance against leica x1. I heard rumor about DP1s, but haven’t heard about the spec yet.

3 years ago |Sigma got one essential feature right: weight. The DPs are light enough to be comfortable to pocket; something I can’t say about the GF1 or E-P1 unless the lens is unmounted and carried in another pocket.
I doubt Sigma will make a compact with interchangeable lenses. That’s just ONE of many things that make the DP cameras uncompetitive. Still, they’ve shown before that they are ready to embark on unprofitable projects and let the lens business finance it.

3 years ago |You can’t compare the DP2 with the E-P1. I have them both and the DP2 is much smaller and weights less. It has flaws but the IQ is better than the E-P1 with kitlens. That will change when better lenses are released for m43 I guess..
