No doubt BP needs some work still, but let’s be honest – you don’t really *need* to be running BP on here do you… Surely just causes more issues than it’s worth.

2 years ago |WordPress is more than stable and mature enough to sustain a site like 43rumors. But I guess the developers where more familiar with other systems or wanted to sell you some properitarian they could charge you plenty of developer hours for…..

For my small business, we are moving to WordPress (the platform, not the .com site), and I have to tell you, our former proprietary development folks really did their best to deride WP as a platform. But they’re mostly just trying to protect their very old way of working.

2 years ago |I was getting similar “comment too short” web server responses on the old web site when posting from my cell phone browser. Upgrading to a new server in the last week or so did not change this behavior. The post was still accepted despite the “comment too short” error message.

2 years ago |WordPress is more than mature enough. Buddy Press may not be, but I don’t think it adds much here anyway. WP plus Intense Debate or Disqus for comments works well for many sites which are far more active than this one. Eg, Engadget uses Disqus.

I agree with Oli G; if Buddy Press is causing problems, consider switching comment system. Or just use WP’s built-in comment system.

is it possible, that the shown all black 14-42mm ist an updated one. Not only cause it’s all black but if you have a loser Look there is a silver ring around the objektive an the distance between focus ring and zoom ring is obviously larger than at the zurrend 14-42mm.

Make page width better adaptable to various resolutions. I visit this website on three PCs, one with 1024×600 and two with 1920×1080 screens and the website does not look 100% good on any of them. Images are often cropped on small screen, while on FullHD ones there’s too much space on the sides.
I’d like printable version of pages with comments. I often read them on my mobile while commuting and would appreciate some page versions without columns on the right side.
Thanks for fixing comments.
BTW, in Opera 10.53 I cannot see the reply button beneath the reply text box.
