  • Point and shoot = point on the display where to focus and the cameras shoots!

  • Taking photos by touching the screen, holding it by just 1 hand, no IS…
    = blurred photos.

Btw: Did u know that 720 is better than average fullHD?
Common .. even consumer is not that dumb..

But I like that guy:] <- no sarcasm !

Not necessarily blurred photos over 1/250 even w/o IS and holding by 1 hand.

“Taking photos by touching the screen”

It has a shutter release button too. :-)

I agree on the guy though, I think he could convince me to buy anything.

      • Thanks god it’s still there :) In future they will remove it too :p

  • dts

seems at least to have full manual video controls – good decision.

    • How can you tell it has full manual video controls?

I think the GF2 plus pancake will be a great combo and hopefully value (because of high lens price) if the kit is priced right.

One of the videos/some of the images indicated that the pancake lens will be all black rather than black with the grey color. I think this is a big improvement. I wish I could have gotten my 20 mm f1.7 in black and my 17mm f2.8 in black as is offered now by olympus. It is the little things in life.

  • The video quality from the GH2 and the Voigtlander looks excellent!

  • sparedog

Admin, do you know if there will be an updated higher resolution evf? (compatible with gf1)
    thanks

    • I’m thinking that a next-gen “optional EVF” will be release sometime soon… Couldn’t a third party make one? Are the ports for the LX5/GF2/etc… all the same?

    • Yes, and I was very impressed filming with the Voigtlander ! :)

  • sparedog

i have asked in a couple of forums if a third party could/would make them, or if a modder is somewhere modding them, but no answer yet.

  • I’ve just post a better quality of the film now :)

  • Mikko

Which lens was used during the interview / the face shots?

    • I used for the ITW / the face shots my hacked GH1 with a c-mount Fujia 35mm 1.7 (30$ on ebay) :)
