Private message appendix…(Olympus camera in February?)
Dear readers,
Many of you worried about me because of the post I wrote yesterday. I only wanted to add that I am not sick, and I am not going to stop the activity on 43rumors. I am having some issues to solve within my family and that’s why I could miss to post some news or not be that fast to answer your emails. So if it happens that you don’t hear about me for a few days you should know that I am very likely busy with family business.
That said, I really appreciate your kind words. It’ really gave me some energy I lost during the last weeks. I will need that because I know we are going to see many new m43 products within the next weeks. There will be the enw Panasonic lenses and I have been told Olympus could launch the new camera in February (yes, the new “revolutionary” camera). I will keep working on those rumors and I am glad we can have such an interesting time to share together.

You’ve done a fantastic job with this site and hunting down your sources for info! This is a fun, personal and personable site that I enjoy visiting often… maybe too often.
You (or maybe the site?) helped me decide to jump into M4/3 and a link here actually enabled me to get my GH2 early this year when they were nearly impossible to find and for $50 off!
This can be a rough time of year and transition, so do watcha gotta do for yourself and try to grab some downtime for yourself, if you can.

I’m a reader of your website probably since the first day. I read you everyday even many times per day, and really appreciate your work. I’m amazed to see what this site has become and you deserve a lot of praise for this becaus you are alone on this but work with your heart
Now i have a little prediction to make for oly
What we know :
- oly have acess to OLED. The use it on E P3
- they are said to have designed the Fuji X100 evf
- a weatherproof body will come (because of the new zoom just announced)
- the sensor agrrement with pana ceased end of 2011 and they never used the new sensors
- they announced something new compatible with m4/3
My guess is that oly is preparing to use another sensor since at least one year that ‘s why they didn’t use the latest pana ones. I think they will use a Fuji one (possibly the organic one) and with at least APS size. Not a problem for Fuji becuse their mirrorless body is said to use something bigger than APS. The new body will be weather sealed, be fully compatible with 4/3 (PDAF on sensor) and m4/3 and new sensor size. It will have the rumored hybrid EVF/OVF with OLED, and an high res OLED back screen.
Maybe I’m dreaming but It’s just the perfect cam for me. Good sensor, good JPEGs, fast CDAF, PDAF, can use small m4/3 lenses when needed, HQ 4/3 lenses when needed, and APS lenses for DOF when needed. Such a camera would kill everything on the market

Take your time, I’m always hoping for a new wonderful u43 with D90 IQ and LX3 size (I know it won’t happened, but still…), that’s why I come here at least 6 or 7 times a day. But I will survive if there are only strong news/rumors and your family time is much more important than my impatience !

Walk away. She’s not worth it. Women are a dime a dozen. The second there is drama in a relationship, walk away. It’s better for you, for her, for the kids, everyone.
“Working things out” never works out in the long run; it just prolongs the pain for you, which makes the kids (if there are any) lead miserable lives in the meanwhile.
