Panasonic LX3 discontinued ?
I’m continuely receiving emails from people saying the Panasonic LX3 is beeing discontinued in the UK and US. This is not the first time that we hear that.
Amazon US has only few Panasonic DMC-LX3K 1 (Black)
(FT2) A new source confirmed us that Panasonic is ready to release a compact camera with backlight sensor. In future Panasonic will apply the same tecnology on MFT sensors.

3 years ago |I called panasonic last week and they told me over the phone that production of the LX3 has been discontinued. However, they had no record of the m4/3 or any lx4/lx5 successor, unfortunately.

3 years ago |Reality, swallow the attitude. That’s what a Panasonic rep told me over the phone when I spoke with them. I also spoke with numerous stores who have the camera back-ordered and have said that they have no expectations of fulfilling their orders since Panasonic has pushed the expected shipment date back multiple times.
