That is now very close to a miracle. OFr the first time in US all different Panasonic GH2 kits are in Stock and shipping at J&R (Click here). Check out the GH2 availability in other stores at Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay.
So now that everyone on the world can get the GH2 we hope Panasonic will release the next new products soon

3 years ago |Just tried to order this through J&R but had no luck. I ordered it through J&R’s site, but paid with Amazon. I then called J&R to see if it really was in stock and when it would be shipped (had an issue with another camera company that claimed they had it in stock when they actually didn’t) but the rep said, it was NOT in stock. The estimated delivery to J&R is March 29. Would like to hear if anyone else was successful. I placed the order at 12:55 EST but maybe I missed the boat. Panasonic needs to get their act in order. If there was any competitor to this, in this price range, I would have been all over it.

3 years ago |Well…I hope they’re just listing the number they have been told they’ll receive as “in stock.” I placed an order for the black with 14-42 lens at 7:15 and now it’s listed as out of stock. Silver with 14-42 still claims to be in stock, so give that a shot if you’re feeling lucky…this is my 3rd attempt at buying this camera so I’m guessing this is another runaround.

3 years ago |Thanks Ethan. I saw that “in stock” silver one last night but I doubt it’s in. I really want a black one anyway. On the bright side, I feel like we’re going to see the release of these cameras within the next week. I just got an email from B&H saying that they are now taking pre-orders (this is a first) and a rep at Midwest Photo told me last week that her distributor expected them in within a week and a half. So maybe by the end of next week or into the first week of April, we’ll actually get a chance to buy one. I don’t know why Panasonic is making it so hard for people to give them the money.
