2 years ago |WOW! Thanks…I had one pre-ordered in August from Amazon proper…(delivery date in Nov. as of now)…canceled that and jumped on this from H&B Digital via Amazon. Hope it goes thru ok…because they only listed 2 lenses available. I have read good things about H&B…..
Got my fingers crossed!!!!

The first link is Amazon Direct Warehouse. You can only pre-order that camera. Estimated delivery is sometime? in Nov.
The Second link you listed is for H&B Photo in NYC who is an Amazon seller who currently has the silver lens in stock, with no premium price BS..and a nominal $5 shipping fee. I canceled my order on the first Amazon link in your post, which had been sitting there for well over one month and ordered from the second link in your post. I should have my lens by the end of this week or early next week. (for some reason H&B has a 2-day processing time lag…but it is better than waiting till “who knows when” Amazon gets the lenses).
Amazon sells products directly and also has thousands of businesses that sell products “thru” the Amazon website. I have NEVER had any problems with these sellers and Amazon runs a pretty tight ship.
When you look at a product page on Amazon…look over to the right top corner Where it says “add to cart” and if there is a 3rd-party seller it will be listed there. If there is no 3rd-party seller…you are buying directly from Amazon.

2 years ago |Hey Bob… I actually see that…but apparently Amazon is also a seller in both product ID’s…so I am surprised they have 2 for the same product.
(For this lens, I am ordering from Amazon (as the seller) directly)

2 years ago |H&B sent my lens out via Fed-X (slow boat) today…so I should have it soon, I sold my 45mm-200mm awhile back so I am excited to get this lens which is a lot smaller and I hope a little sharper with better contrast. We shall see.
