4 years ago |Panasonic is making a killing off this lens. They’re benefiting from two things. There is basically no competition and the Olympus lens that is similar is garbage compared to the Panasonic.

What is weird is that why wont they produce more of them? they are being sold out since September (Half a year now)
And nothing coming anytime soon to replace this lens anytime, it’s the only available FAST lens in the micro Four format and it happened to be the sharpest and the best lens.
olympus should step up and release Fast pancake or release their 12mmF2.8 pancake asap instead of 2011 Spring.
Their 17mm pancake is useless, it’s not wide angle enough and it’s not fast enough

4 years ago |It really is unbelievable that Olympus doesn’t have a competitor for this lens. As soon as I get my E-PL1, this is the lens I’m getting & it will live on my camera 90% of the time.
