Dave: “You might like to share this video shot on the coastlines of southern Australia this winter (last week). Let’s dedicate it to King Canute: he’s been dead for 1,000 years and the waves are still rolling in! Shot on Panasonic GX85 with Lumix 14-140 lens and Olympus 12-40 f2.8. https://youtu.be/b4LAvbzQZaA“
You save $150 on the Leica 12mm f/1.4 lens sold by Quickndone on eBay. They also sell the Open Box GH5 for $1,899.

Olympus 150mm f/2 Zuiko mounted on the E-M1 Mark II / PEN-F standing by (Imaging Resource)
I think it’s close to two years I do not post any Four Thirds related review. And now thanks to Imaging Resource we have one. They tested the superb Olympus 150mm FT lens on the E-M1II and PEN-F
There is no question that the Olympus 150mm ƒ/2 Zuiko is a well-built, high performance telephoto lens. The results from the labs show excellent performance across the board in terms of sharpness, resistance to chromatic aberration, distortion and vignetting. Of course, when paying over two thousand dollars for a lens, you should expect nothing less. The big question would be whether or not to consider the Sigma 150mm ƒ/2.8; it’s much less expensive, but matches the Olympus in terms of quality. However, that extra stop of speed, and the high quality inherent in the Super High Grade lens lineup, would make the Olympus 150mm ƒ/2 an excellent addition to an Olympus owner’s collection.

Panasonic Japan published the full Q1 financial report. A couple of notes:
1) Net profit attributable to Panasonic Corporation stockholders increased by 19.6 billion yen from the previous year (particularly due to growth in the automotive-related business).
2) Increased in AV consumer electronics such as TVs and digital cameras
In all their documents I found nearly no mention of the digital camera business. It’s clear that other branches (automotive industry and so on) are the more important part within the company
This one is back in Stock: $59 for a reconditioned Olympus zoom at GetOlympus (Click here).
Reminder: Panasonic dropped the price of the 25mm f/1.7 lens. You can have it for $149 only at Amazon, Bhphoto and Adorama.
The Japanese site Instore reports that the Olympus E-M10II and 14-42mm kit is marked as discontinued in nearly all major Japanese stores.
This may be another sign that the new E-M10III will be announced soon!
