Panasonic 35-100mm tested at DxOmark.

DxOmark (Click here) posted and wrote that this is “certainly the best (MFT) kit available based around zoom lenses“.
The 12-35 and 35-100mm basically have the same kind of quality. And it’s rumored that Olympus will launch a f/2.8 zoom with even better image quality. It’s likely going to be announced along the new OMD in September. But I still need to get a confirmation form trusted sources about that…

AF during video comparison, GH2 vs GH3

Panasonic pancake zoom patent at Freepatentsonline.
New Olympus WOW and Experience days (Damian McGillicuddy).
Olympus OM-D Photography Playground Berlin Trip (Photographyblog).

Chris:Just if you are interested to share this with the 43 Rumors readers. Most of this film (about 95%) was shot on a GH2 and an OMD EM-5. There are a few sequences from an iphone (pancakes section is iphone and a one or two others): https://vimeo.com/64437121

Byron:Hey there, your viewers might like this. Here is an interview that I shot of Zakk Wylde, guitar player for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society. The interview was shot with a GH3 with the 12-35 f2.8 on Zakk, a hacked GH2 with the 14-140 on the host and another hacked GH2 with the stock kit lens as the wide two shot. The handheld shots were shot with a Nikon D800E. It was color graded using Premiere Pro CS6 and Magic Bullet Looks. Really loving the GH3, looks the best out of the bunch! Cheers!

(FT5) Images of the Black 17mm and 75mm lenses!

Share

Here you have the images of the new 75mm and 12mm Black lenses. Still missing is the image of the 45mm f/1.8 lens. I am not sure yet but the price of the Black lenses should be the same of the Silver version. Note that two of the three Silver primes are yet discounted (at least in USA).

The 17mm f/1.8 sells for $449 at Amazon, Adorama and BHphoto.
The 45mm sells for $349 at Amazon, Adorama and BHphoto.
The 75mm f/1.8 can be found with a $100 discount at [shoplink 38467 ebay]CameraLand (Click here)[/shoplink].

But I think the price of the Black version will be the previous “normal” price.
