Cool test: Olympus AIR with the 300mm Four Thirds lens!

One of the advantages of the new Olympus AIR MFT “lens-camera” is that it allows a new kind of shooting with huge tele lenses! The picture on top shows how you can hold the [shoplink 22138 ebay]300mm f/2.8 Four Thirds lens[/shoplink] without having to use the tripod. Something that would be much harder to do if you would have a “normal” DSLR or Mirrorless camera on it.

DC.watch posted a full set of images to show how it works (Click on it to enlarge):

Image samples shot with tha combo can be seen at DC.watch.

Frederik:Here is a test which shows the E-M5 II video stabilization capabilities using a long lens (120mm equivalent). The video shows that this is way superior to the GH4 with Lumix X 35-100mm f/2.8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_USkqE4_RI

Ben:Thought you’d be interested in this project as it was shot over about a 3 year period on the GH2, GH3, and GH4. http://www.yonderbluefilms.com/blog/2015/3/25/an-homage-to-panasonics-lumix-cameras
