Like I told you months ago the next MFT camera that will be announced by Olympus will be the E-M10III. But it’s hard to be not tempted to grab that deal on the current E-M10II. because you get camera plus lens for $499 only at Adorama, BHphoto, Amazon, GetOlympus. That’s a $200 savings that make it the current best bang for the buck in the Olympus MFT world.
Our reader Chris noticed that the Panasonic 14mm pancake lens is marked as discontinued at BHphoto. I don’t know if that’s just a temporary store note or if the lens is really no more going to be produced by Panasonic.
This video goes through some of small fixes we believe could be accomplished by simple firmware updates that would vastly improve the new Panasonic GH5. DO 43rumors reader have something to add to the list made by Fstoppers?

Capion Studio: “GH5 & Nikkor-S 55MM F1.2 Test https://vimeo.com/213776898 This is some of the first footage I have shot with the Panasonic GH5 and my newly acquired Nikkor-S 55mm F 1.2 w/ Metabones adapter. This has been shot at two resolutions / speeds; UHD 60 fps, and HD 180 fps conformed to a 24p timeline. Footage was conducted via handheld and with the Ronin-M stabilizer. Coloring processed with Magic Bullet Looks. Thoughts: Personally I love the organic look the Nikkor-S 55mm F1.2 provides. It has low contrast and a soft ethereal “glow” to it at F1.2. My lens collection is rather clinical, so I am starting to invest in the vintage Nikon line to introduce more character into my work as shown here. The Nikkor-S 55mm F1.2 sharpens up around F1.8 – F2 to the point that it can compete with some of the best lenses out there. Chromatics are noticeable around edges, but I find it flattering to coincide with the organic feel. Give this lens a try, you will not be disappointed!”
For crazy low $59 you get the reconditioned 40-150mm with warranty directly at GetOlympus (Click here). And if you want it brand new the lens sells for $99 only at Amazon, Adorama, BHphoto or GetOlympus. It is the best MFT lens deal out there!
And today’s Gold Box deal at Bhphoto is that Bolt Flash for MFT cameras:
