I like that PenPal concept, especially the way Photo John explains it. Citizen journalism can really get an uplift. He mentions Bluetoothing photos, but I suspect that videos can (or will) be sent to a cellphone as well.
Also another new lens? The guy in the E-PL2 video above mentions right at the end a 40-150mm MSC zoom that was sent along with it. That’s a new one right?
XZ-1 looks my next camera!
In previous posts was published that the XZ1 will be a bit smaller than LX-5. As we can see now for example in dpreview: http://www.dpreview.com/previews/olympusXZ1/
the new Oly XZ-1 is a little larger than LX-5. I would like a smaller camera, but it appears that we definitively can’t get everything
I’m not worried for the larger size, it’s considerabily smaller than G12 and P7000 and appears to have near to “all good things” of their competitors. But let’s wait to any full review and see the real IQ of this new camera.
DonTom:
The 14-150mm MSC lens mentioned in the video has been available for some time now. I picked mine up in September. The current B&H price is $480 (I think it was $600 MSRP when it was first announced).
FT= FourThirds
