I love the form factor. I do mountaineering and the bulk and weight is the single most important factor to consider in my photographic equipment.
I personally can never use a Nikon or a Cannon, the bulk is a complete deal breaker, in my humble personal opinion Canon and Nikon are only suitable for studio use. Plus they suffer from the lack of in-body image stabilization.
The E-Px series is new so the price reflects that. Over the next couple of years the prices will go down as they did with regular DSLRs.

Where is Olympus going ???

They claim it will be more pricey than EP-1, which is already 650 Euro body only in Europe. So what ? EP-2 will be 800 euro, but for that price you can get a E-30.... It looks more like a fashionnable camera, I am afraid Pen will be gone in 2 years from now, the price is too high for the targetted market.
In addition the improvement compared to EP-1 are minor, all of us who bought the EP-1 will feel cheated up, apecially for the one who paid full price at the release.

Go for Nikon or Canon, Olympus only make money from our emotions not thanks to great features camera
