Journey (Olympus OM-D E-M5) from Andrew Reid on Vimeo.

Before to start. Be aware of mistakes on eBay. A reader pounted me out that “someone” is selling the E-M5 battery grip for 2.500 Euro (Click here to see the auction). I see those kind of “mistakes” all the time :(

UPDATE: Body only in Stock at Amazon (Click here).

Our friend Andrew from EosHD (Click here) posted an E-m5 review focusing more on the video aspects of the camera: “There are some things the OM-D E-M5 does better even in video mode than the competition including even the GH2. Unfortunately the image quality in video mode is not an all-out winner like the stills mode.

Steve Huff tested the 12-50mm kit lens: “It’s a good lens though not a GREAT “wow” lens.

DxO Optics Pro 7.5.2 gains Olympus E-M5 and Panasonic GF5 support (Dpreview).

ePhotozine posted a E-M5 1-Month User Review

it´s not a mistake.. they place it so high on ebay so nobody bids for it.

because it´s not available or in stock at the moment.

they do that so they don´t have to remove the auction.
    it´s common ebay practice… thought i don´t like it.

The OM-D needs 24 or 25fps and more bitrate (can be done via firmware?) and could be the (almost) perfect hybrid camera.

It sure is possible to do in Software. The question just is, are they willing to do it?

And if they don’t… will someone make a hack?

Hmm… I have a spare lens cap that might fit an EM-5. I’m willing to sell it for 300 Euro.

Hey…has anyone received their OM-D rebate yet? This wait is kind of ridiculous…no?

I got mine almost straight away… But, in Australia so different. Not having any 43 lenses, I need to sell my new mmf3 adaptor. 2,500 euros anyone?

Go for it, but I’m busy using mine. :)
