2 years ago |LOL. I better get mine 1st. I ordered BODY ONLY Feb 7 from them and still no word!? I have been ordering stuff from them for years and I am getting really disappointed in this roll out and the customer service from them.

2 years ago |I expect that supplies of E-M5 to US should be readily available in the near future. Demand for E-M5 has leveled off in Japan with black kit in #13 place and body only at #73 (BCN) so more can be shipped to US markets.

2 years ago |I pre-ordered the black body only from B&H on the 22nd Feb … and it HAS shipped last night!! So I’m guessing a lot of people will be getting them soon.

2 years ago |If you follow the link, the Adorama website (currently) says they’re in stock. Still, if Adorama is selling them to folks online now, you’d think they’d already have taken care of pre-orders like “better Neuman”‘s.

2 years ago |Yeah, the website status never changed, at least for me. that’s why I called adorama directly. Considering pre-order people arent mentioning any shipment notifications, I’m skeptical of this tidbit, and thus was wondering if Admin’s source was first hand.

If its a direct source, all the more credibility! And it seems a lot of comments just popped up stating that their preorders are being shipped. Here’s hoping that the Olympus made a recent large shipment to all the major vendors to fulfill the preorders, and have surplus in stock!

2 years ago |I pre-ordered the black body only on Feb 7. Today, I see a “pending” charge of ~$1007 on my credit card. Hopefully, I’ll have my camera by Monday.

2 years ago |i ordered from adorama and they shipped it yesterday i ordered it on monday, no preorder, and the cart said it was backordered and it was not. so who knows i am just happy i am getting mine next week

2 years ago |Few hours after writing the above comment asking admin regarding this information, I saw that the adorama via amazon page shows “in stock” status for the body only. If your story is true, it might line up with this post by admin, and the newest shipment is enough to fulfill all the preorders and then some!
Who knows? Maybe a lot of the body only preorder people opted for the 14-42 kit and he body only queue freed up? Wishful thinking, probably…

2 years ago |I ordered with Adorama and it only charged me for the accessory. I called and they said they have never had them in stock. I cancelled the whole order. But I see this conflicts with the above. Thought I would pass along my two cents on it though.
