3 years ago |went to PMA in Melbourne today and I met all the Olympus guys that I know. I asked the price of 9-18 and 14-150… They said the price for both will be the same which is AUD799

3 years ago |“I have also uploaded a very short clip taken with the same lens to demonstrate its video mode continuous focus capability, which is much improved compared to the original m.Zuiko lenses (17mm pancake and 14-42 standard kit zoom). The 14-150 is impressively quick to focus, less indecisive, and the focus motor is commendably quiet.”
So far so good.

3 years ago |Looks gd based on the photos, and quite sharp wide open as well though it should be sharpest @ f/6.3. I prolly be selling away my oly 14-42mm and panny 45-200mm and get this lens while waiting for panny new 100-300mm.

3 years ago |Looks good? They look awful! I’m hoping it’s the photographer and not the lens, because these approximate kit lens quality from a canon. CA is nasty, and it’s really soft in the corners. Poor contrast as well. Guess HG lenses have me spoiled.

3 years ago |This is typical photography nitpicking. It goes without saying that any camera or lens reviewed online will have half the people saying it totally sucks and the other half saying it looks great.

3 years ago |It looks decent for the price, sharp over its entire range with loads of CA at the long end. It may be very popular if sold as kit with the E-PL1.
