10 months ago |It also transforms your pancake lens into a larger lens, and unlike classic 4/3rds lenses, it doesn’t mount reversed on your lens for storage. Also, if you go the Amazon page, it is not available.
I do have them for my Olympus 14-42mm and Panasonic 20mm, because they do look kind of cool, but they do defeat the smallness of the lenses. Note, for the 14-42mm mark 1, it vignettes somewhat when the lens is shot at 14mm.

10 months ago |I had a very good experience with Vanns when I bought the 20mm last month. They had the best price at the time (only $10 more than it is now) and it arrived in only 4 days.

10 months ago |I got one of those hood when I brought my GF1 over 30 months ago, so it is definitely not new as eM implied. It was $5 including postage, and they even have a 55mm lens cap that fits the hood.
The hood fits all the 46mm thread lens, originally a replacement hood for the 46mm threaded summicron.
It looks cool, but functionally it is not needed for the 20mm or the 14mm lens. It is actually slightly bigger the the 14mm lens itself, Michael. That’s why panasonic didn’t do a hood for them.
It definitely bring dark corners to the oly 12mm.
