2 years ago |This assumes you can resell the 14-140 for 739, which as ebay shows, you pretty much cant. Looking back on the completed listings, you’ll either get ~550-600 for it or it wont sell at all (about HALF of the listings). Considering the body alone is 600, you’re taking a risk here to maybe save ~250 dollars, or waste 450 if you dont need the lens.

For many this is valuable info, if its not to you, no need for slick comments.
In my case I want a GH2 with the 14-140 kit
I have a team though and I am really considering get an extra camera.
Not every one would resell so all the talk of reselling as if its the only option is not necessary
This requires some basic math and some thinking
GH2 + 14-140mm = 1500
GH2 + GH1 + 14-140 = 1858
GH2 + GH1 + 14-140 + 14-42 = 1958
GH1 is still one of the best if not the best “DSLR” video camera (I don’t use 1080) and it has possibly still the best 43 or m43 sensor (pending GH2 & E5 comparisons) and to get that camera for basically $358 or with 14-42mm for $458 is a very good deal.
updates like this are good, and if you don’t like it don’t read, but don’t be rude or try and imply its a pointless post. The world does not revolve around “Me Me Me”
