The address above didn’t work for me, but this one did.

Okay. these real world pictures of the camera look really good. the brushed steel is nice. If the camera really looks this way I may be in! I just wish it was cheaper. boo hoo.

It looks pretty cool in those shots. More retro with that silver body and black lens. The zoom though makes it a little bigger. I’ll be interested to see what the kits are tomorrow.

Yes, not bad with the silver/black, keep trying the website, as the link doesn’t always work, I am sure many are trying to access it!

  • Niko

@morgan: re kits – this french site says the following:
    – body + zoom lens: 749 eur
    – body + both lenses + external OVF: 949 eur
    – each lens individually: 329 eur

is typically about the same amount in US$…

I love the official leaked photos, but it isn’t often that a picture of a camera also look that great.

Build quality looks excellent. This is exactly what I have wanted for some time now. And the silver body, black lens is making me rethink wanting the black version … although a black option would probably look really slick too!

Did anyone save these images? NumeriMatch (a subsidiary of Paris Match?) seems to have taken them down. And I’m too impatient to wait ’til tomorrow ;-).

Niko – thanks for that. <$1000 sounds pretty good for all that, I think, and definitely seems the best bet. I just hope I can get one before mid-july. I’m off to tokyo and this would be a great camera to complement my rangefinders…
