New Panasonic GH2 and lens test
Resolution test of the Panasonic 14mm f/2.5 lens
Mike Zawadzki from Uniquefoto tested the Panasonic GH2: “In regards to the GH2 I was humbly impressed. I expected it to be “just another” mirrorless camera. It still has it’s quirks, but overall I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or seasoned pro.”
Diwa-awards posted two new test graph Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4-5.6 Mega O.I.S and the Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 Asph. The Vario has a very good resolution at 100mm. The 14mm lens a little bit worser corner resolution than the 20mm f/1.7 lens but center resolution is slightly better.
Lenstip tested the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 lens. But we all already know that this lens is awesome. And for $332.27 (Amazon) it also also very cheap!

2 years ago |I’ve posted some test shots which directly compare the 45-200 and the 100-300 on my Flickr stream, start here

There are two sets. The first shows a tree at 100, 200 & 300mm on the 100-300 and 45, 100 & 200 on the 45-200. Focus was on the group of leaves on the right of the tree, in the middle of the shot.
The second set shows a fence at the same focal lengths. Focus was on the head of a nail in the fence panel.
They were all taken on a tripod using manual exposure and focus, they are in-camera jpgs without any processing and you can download them full size.
There was some change to the light during the shots and there’s a noticeable colour balance differnece between the lenses too – but you can make a direct comparison.
