4 years ago |Sorry but I have to agree with Frank and say this is clutter.
I’m only in this site for 4/3 and m4/3 news. Compact sensors have no interest at all for me. And the site is called 43rumors not OlympusRumors nor PanasonicRumors.
If you feel in another way about this I think you should start a poll asking wether the readers are interested in posts about compact cameras be it Panasonic or Olympus.
If I get the feeling this is going to be a selection of Olympus/Panasonic news, I might as well read dpreview alone.

4 years ago |I don’t mind this filler information. I check this site daily and were it not for this, we would just see where to buy 43 products or a FT2 speculation. Let them give us some news. I also think competition rumors should go here too, like Nikon’s rumor about an interchangeable lens compact camera with a smaller sensor than m43. This site would be really dull without some daily post, and you know they can’t have a legit new rumor every day of the week.

“And the site is called 43rumors not OlympusRumors or PanasonicRumors.“. I can’t call the website “OlympusPanasonicRumors.com“! I tried to find a more simple name. And what do Olympus and Panasonic have in common? The FourThirds format. That’s why I have choosen the “43rumors.com” name. P.S.: if you insert Olympusrumors.com or Panasonicrumors.com in your webbrowser URL you will land on this page.

And only very few of them have to do with simple “dpreview news” or “compact cameras”. 2 days of compact camera news can’t change the fact that 98% of all our posts do talk about FourThirds and MicroFourThirds cameras.
I may agree with Duarte and Frank that I should make it clear that we do not cover MicroFourThirds only but also FourThirds and compact camera news. The last few months we had not many FourThirds news that’s why some people may had the feeling we are a MicroFourThirds website.
And one more message to Duarte and Frank. If you don’t like the latest compact camera news no worry, they are past. Now it is time for some real cool rumor
