    12-35 is 100$ off not 200$

  • Guy

It was $200 off this morning.

    • Dionys

It was $1050 USD on Cyber Monday from PanaCam free shipping. I received mine in 4 days after order. After shooting w/ it for 2 events I am mostly happy w/ it. This lens is excellent for video too.

What have been people’s experiences with the Lumix Link iPhone app? It seems like it would be a great street photography tool if paired with a GF or GX camera. Admin, any rumor of Olympus working on an equivalent app for the OMD and PENs?

See also Jim’s comments regarding remote camera control vs triggering:

    • Jason

For example, an upgraded penpal (bluetooth) device? Or, better yet, an intelligent wifi device for the Oly accessory port?

    • Ash

This would be great, but we can’t really sit around and wait for Olympus to get witht he picture.

I’m going to buy a triggertrap, used it with my android phone as a remote.

      • Jason

Ash, TriggerTrap looks pretty good at a reasonable price too – thanks for the info.

Let’s hope Panasonic continues with wifi controllable cameras (GX2?) so we can use live view on iOS/Android devices. Who needs a rotating camera back LCD when you can use one that’s already fully detached, your phone.

Given Olympus’ historic innovation track record, I’m surprised we haven’t seen more mobile device integration from them (besides the mediocre penpal).

Connectivity is the big next thing in camera world.
    It’s great.

I just wish Olympus and Panasonic will release an open SDK one day.

  • re Lumix app. Can’t get it to work on the Galaxy Note 2 which is annoying but no doubt a fix will come out. Early days yet.
