The compact Samsung image looks interesting. It seems to include an EVF (top left corner when viewed from behind). On the other side, there's no internal flash (same fault as E-P1). I seems with APS-C there will have to be compromises to make a body as compact as the m4/3.

WRT the Sony mock-ups, they look very compact, although no sign of flash or even hotshoe. To me, the Sony mock-up seems to be in the same stage as the first Olympus m4/3 mock-up (the orange one). So it might take some more time to make a mature product. May sounds unlikely in that light. It may just be an orchestrated rumour to stop m4/3 from gaining momentum.

I think Sony will be the most serious m4/3 competitor until Canon/Nikon enter the market. Sony know how to get their products on the shop shelves, better so than Olympus.

Canon will react only when Nikon launches its system. Let's hope that by then the m43 group will gain enough market share and have enough bodies and lenses to withstand the attack :).

Sony and Samsung are minor DSLR players. Without making a hugely more attractive system than m43 ( and it doesn't seem they will be ), they will not be able to gain popularity.

I think there is a popup device, finder or flash on the Sony mockup.

So no IBIS inside, that makes the camera small, but some lenses will require OIS.

It seems the video war will be between Panasonic, Sony & Samsung, not difficult to guess.
