lol i didn’t meant it literally, but i was referring to the unconfirmed claim of the zd designs actually being 28-70 and 70-200 with a focal reducer, which explained their sizes. to implement that (with the same speed)in m43 would be unthinkable for me, but then again, i am no lens designer.

its impossible to scale the zd 12-35 or 35-100 f/2 to smaller dimension because of their basic concept.

unless indoors, why is the distance a problem for you? long focal lengts give great isolation effect for portraits, wether be it head, head shoulder, head half body or even full body. Its about the effect a FL gives at the end, not about the comfortable position of the shooter, but thats just my opinion [...]

i would love to try the nikkor 105 1.8 on the om-d. Same applies for the canon 85 fd 1.2. unfortunately these are expensive too as you need a hi quality adapter too.

the bokeh of both 75 & 35-100 has to be seen before we can say which one has nicer shaoolow dof rendering. The ZD 35-100 has marvelous bokeh at all positions.

excuse me but what do you mean with the L charm? While i have some good experience with the 85 L, my 300 L 2.8 from job fell apart into 2 separate pieces because the construction unscrewed itself. Even Canon makes BS charm.
