As I said in my post above: there isn’t a single REALLY SHARP action picture shot with the Nikon one to find in the whole World Wide Web. The E-M5, however, delivers reliably when switchen into vivid (Please use the links in my previous post).

I’m amazed by the 14-150′s performance at the short end.
And my E-M5 kit was delivered today. Picked it up at 19:00hrs CEST, battery is loaded and waiting for action tomorrow. -

According to what the first E-M5 users in the German systemkamera-forum claim, the E-M5′s IS is on a par with the OIS of the Lumix 100-300 even at 300 mm.

I think it’s far more amazing that the E-PM1 is available for just €209, in Germany.

That’s what I’d call a bargain. -

I voted ywes but I’d rather buy a sealed version – while I don’t mind the least if it’s silver or black.

“But when the camera body is mostly black, silver lenses doesn’t match, simple as that. Whether you like is a different issue. Its like white shoe laces on black shoes. Some people might dig it but most people dont. The problem is we don’t have a choice.”

I fully disagree, here.

Those who have shot with the great FT HG zooms are aware that f2.8 is absolutely fine for everything if the lenses provide frame-to-frame sharpness wide open and are optically top class. They are good enough for isolatimg your subject and evereything else. So, if these new pancakes – should they ever be produced – [...]

The issues with the 16mm on the Nex7 are well documented, its not up to the 7′s resolution.” —- I fully agree here. These kinds of test are absolutely useless and [...]

“There is no question about the superior performances of the 4/3rds Olympus lenses.” —- I always believed that this was the case but just the other day, a long-time Oly user (since the OM days) in the German ‘Olympioniken’ forum told me, that his copy of the M.Zuiko 9-18 defintely is better than his ED [...]

DonParrot commented on the blog post Tomorrow GF5 and camcorder announcement. Is it just me dreaming a L1? 1 month, 2 weeks ago · View
I’s rather buy an E-1 styled µFT camera – with both the lens AND the viewfinder in the corner. So, I’d still have viewfinder and lens in the same axis. And its handling was just perfect.
I just can’t understand the fake-rangefinder obsession. -
