5 months ago |1. Many Panasonic & Olympus M43 users are interested in news of the companies and their digital camera products.
2. Some of us are asked by friend and colleagues for recommendations of non-ILC cameras. It helps to know what is out there and what the current deals are. Because of this site, I was able to recommend a great December deal on Olympus XZ1 to co-workers who are very happy now.
3. Notice the subtitle at the top of the page: “Panasonic and Olympus Digital Camera News”. The site started out with a 4/3 focus, added m4/3 and has grown because it includes various related content.
4. Our admin (and currently supporting helpers) has done an outstanding job of ensuring that there is something new here almost every day (even during these holidays and even with a new baby coming in his family). BTW this is not the case with many other digital camera news sites. So if there are slim pickings in m43, bring on the secondary news.
5. This site has become a kind of clearinghouse for news of O & P camera deals. I believe a small amount of (well deserved) site-support expense is earned from click-throughs.
6. If you want a “pure forum” about m43 exlusively, you are welcome to start one. You can police it as closely as you like.
