Incredible GF1 deal in UK (not so in US).

The british online shop Parkcameras is selling the GF1 body for 199 Pounds only. That’s a huge deal for the GF1! As you have certainly noticed there are not many cameras in Stock. The graph above shows how the price of the GF1 is increasing at Amazon US. It proves that there is still a considerable demand for the GF1 but also that there are only few in Stock. Check out at Amazon, Olympus US store, Adorama, B&H, eBay!

P.S.: The newer Panasonic GF2 is already in Stock at Amazon, Olympus US store, Adorama, B&H, eBay

I wouldn’t trust the “In stock” status on Pixmania. It might be right, but better check before ordering.

Pixmania’s pricing is also confusing, more than one price for what appears to be the same camera……….

    Isn’t gf1 basically a g1 without evf and grip?

    • spam

No, not really. I’m sure there are quite a few common parts inside, but G1 didn’t have video so GF1 clearly have a newer image processor and possibly a slightly different sensor. G1 had a variangle LCD-screen while the GF1 one is fixed.

  • Rats! Delivering to UK and Ireland only…

I picked up new black GF1 with 20mm pancake in Japan for less than 290 Pounds just two months ago. So 199 Pounds for red body only doesn’t seem to be that great deal to me….
