(DEAL DEAD) Panasonic GH2 in Stock at Amazon! (Thom Hogan can’t get the GH2)
Run! The Panasonic GH2 + 14-140mm lens is in Stock at Amazon (Click here)! There are only two of them in Stock so be fast! Miraculously it has a $43 discount!
Meanwhile Thom Hogan still wans’t able to find one single GH2 camera in Stock: “You’d think that a camera company would actually like to sell cameras. But if my experience in trying to get a GH2 is any example, Panasonic doesn’t think so.“…”This isn’t the first time Panasonic has had trouble getting product out in the US in a timely fashion and meeting demand. The GH1 and GF1 both went through similar problems. By the time Panasonic managed to get sufficient supply into the states and distributed into the sales channels, they had to discount the product to sell it.“

2 years ago |Mine just came off the truck, battery is charging!
Now I need to get adapters for the Hexanon 57mm 1.4, and PK mount 50mm 1.8 and 238 2.8, but the kit 14-42 will have to suffice in the meantime

2 years ago |Yes, panasonic makes decent cameras, it would be nice if they sell them. In my area the only outlet other than specialty camera stores appears to be Frys. Come on, at least sell the damn thing in best buy.

2 years ago |The sad thing, for me, is I had one that I got in December after waiting only 3 months from my original pre-order. I sent it back because I felt that the EVF was messed up. So now I wait again for it’s replacement. )-:

2 years ago |I got mine in December also. I notice some discrepancy between the EVF and LCD and what my eye actually sees in certain situations. I know it can be adjusted somewhat but I wonder if this was your issue as well?

2 years ago |Fully agree with Thom Hogan!!, got my before I went on holiday to Australia for £1000 includeing 14-140mm lense. £200 off Amazon so I am happy snapper but Panasonic for some reason just so slow in getting them in stock. Maybe they thought nobody has the money after all the ressession. Well partly true but we love our cameras.

2 years ago |I am looking to buy a GH2 as well as two AF100s to shoot a short film. I have had two deposits on the AF100s since Nov. 2010! Also, I have already purchased the Voigtlander 25mm F0.9, Olympus 14-35mm F2, Lumix 7-14mm F4, and extra batteries. And I’ve purchased extras batteries for the GH2. I am getting to a point where I can’t wait any longer.
