Ryan sent me this message: “I created a slow motion test using the GH3 yesterday at a Philadelphia Skate Park called Hazzard Park. It was filmed using the ALL-Intra 72mbps format, which records in 720p. When I began to edit the footage, I thought it was 1080 at first. The 720p image from the GH3, in my opinion, is as sharp as a 5D Mark III in 1080p. https://vimeo.com/54972772″. There is also a new GH3 vs GH2 ISO comparison by Excuse Cie on vimeo.

Actually – here in Denmark it is legal to film and photograph in public places. Journalists would not able to work if not.

And even though th mic is better on the GH3, you ALWAYS put on a external mic, if your shooting video Therefore The quality of the internal mic is inrelevant.

What’s nice about the videos without the music tracks is you can hear just how much better the microphones are on the GH3.

Congrats on the baby. My daughter is almost four and she never took naps and hates going to bed, even though she likes story time. But she sure loves to take pictures and play with my cameras!

Every child is different. The first month is usually a 2-3 hours short sleep resilience test. I was lucky and both of my children were doing 7-8 hours straight at around six weeks…

I don’t think I would use any of these settings. I’d rather get my “looks” in post.

Video is looking exquisite. Unfortunately we’ve been advised here in the land of Oz by Panasonic that our GH3′s wont be available until Feb or March at the earliest.
