3 months ago |None of the current Pen/OMD/DSLR cameras have time lapse built into the firmware (they have had in several C-*/SP-* bodies over the years, but it usually gets removed in the next generation).
However, most of the above cameras take a wired shutter release, and you can connect Trigger Trap or other time lapse controllers to the camera via a Pixel cable. The Pen/OMD/DSLR cameras that don’t support a wired shutter release are: E-500, E-330, and E-PL1. The E-1, E-3, E-5, and E-300 (E-300 with portrait grip) use the RM-CB1 shutter release (and CL-CB1 pixel cable) while the others use the RM-UC1 shutter release (and CL-UC1 pixel cable).

3 months ago |One of the problems with this topic is that almost no one can actually test their intervalometer accurately, in camera or external. My GH3s intervalometer is accurate to more than 1/10th of a second, which is excellent performance for most applications. Almost everyone else is responding to one highly publicized test of questionable methodology. One thing that is certain is that there are a variety of small problems with individual samples of the GH3, and really everyone is dieing for a firmware upgrade (nudge nudge wink wink).
