2 years ago |If Panasonic would have bundled the G2 and the GH2 with the 14-45mm lens instead of the 14-42mm the G1 would now be much cheaper. I see people selling G1′s bundled with their brand new 14-42mm just because they don’t want to give up their 14-45mm.

2 years ago |yea, the 14-42mm is oveall downgrade from 14-45mm, only good about 14-42mm is lighter but losing zoom and detail is not good trade off. wish gh2 has better kit than 14-42mm,…..

2 years ago |Except for the addition of a crippled video function (720/30p, MJPEG only, no external mic, no manual controls), the G10 is actually a significant downgrade from the G1. Same sensor, no flip-out LCD, lower quality EVF, lower quality kit lens. It’s a wonder they were able to sell any of them at a higher price than the still readily available G1.
