G3 will be in Stock in July (+US deals summary)
The Panasonic G3 should start thw worldwide shipment in July. Let’s see if Panasonic can keep the “promise”. In US the GH2 is still out of Stock. Amazon US (Click here) says that it “Usually ships in 1 to 2 months“!

3 years ago |The way Panasonic has treated their US customers is disgraceful. The only thing worse are the Europeans on places like 43 Rumors and DP Review who are reveling in it. The US is not some third world country Panasonic- not yet at least. Perhaps the Europeans could organize some sort of Marshall Plan for the US- do for us what we did for the Germans and the rest of them at the end of WWII.

3 years ago |What’s rather funny is that Panasonic seems to be setting up displays in US malls showing off their 3D TV’s and their cameras. They even had a GH2 on display with some high-quality glass. I told them I was a big fan and had a GH2 but asked why it’s still so hard to find in the US. The sales reps were clueless about the shortage.
I think there’s a little one arm doesn’t know what the other arm is doing problem in their US marketing and distribution.

3 years ago |Europe is a much bigger market than the US for Micro Four Thirds. So it makes strong commercial sense for Panasonic to keep the European market well supplied.
Anyway, there are shortages in Europe too. It is not easy to find a GH2.

. Maybe you can take movies of me with your G3 in July! LOL!!!! NOT. Maybe..just maybe you could wait on Amazon all day and see if they list one GH2 in July.

3 years ago |I dont see how when Panasonic factories are haveing power cuts every so often in Japan. I mean what planet are they on do honestly think that we have forgoten the fact that there was a huge earth quake. I bought a lense from my shop were I got my GH2 and the guy said I picked a good time to buy since they is not going to be any stock until panasonic factories start working again.
