Full Olympus E-PM1 review at ePhotozine.

There is a new complete E-PM1 review at ePhotozine (Click here): “Image quality of the Olympus PEN Mini E-PM1 is excellent with excellent detail from the 12 megapixel sensor, with low noise and great colour. The PEN Mini E-PM1 is the most compact of the Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras yet still gives you fairly quick access to controls through on screen functions, and three of the rear buttons can be customised“.
The camera gets “Highly Recommended” by the reviewer! Also the German website Digitalkamera (Click here) tested the E-PM1 and they seem to like it a lot.
The E-Pm1 is the last of the three new PEN cameras that are now in Stock. Check at Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay. Time for a new PEN Oly! Where is my digital Olympus 35?

2 years ago |It’s more and more reason to choose EPM-1 over EPL-3….

2 years ago |The 3 new Olys share the same guts, so it boils down to minor differences in external features.
The EPL3 really is the sweet spot. The tilt screen and external controls add a lot over the barebones EPM1. If you’ve never used a tilting LCD, it gives you so many more shooting options, you’d wonder how you lived without it. Shooting from the waist gives you a stable platform and is great for low-light, street and macro shooting.
It’s a shame Oly didn’t give the EPL3 a touch screen, too.

2 years ago |GH2 is a different beast. It was not designed with ultimate size reduction in mind, so any comparison must be done with care.
PS
2 years ago |All three Olys have rating of over 90% at Digitalkamera !!!

2 years ago |Played with one in a shop in London on Friday. It is super small. I liked it but the screen on the E-P3 was too much of a lure and £610 new on eBay was too tempting. It arrives Tuesday. With a 45/1.8 for company.

2 years ago |If they squeezed in a pop-up flash (like XZ1) the E-PL3 have been unbeatable. P&S upgraders are used to have one for social snapshots, and I often need a fill-flash AND want to use my VF-2. Bummer really.

2 years ago |Have a PM1, adore it. I put the PM1 down next to a PL3 and I can’t understand why you’d buy the PL unless you’re really, really hot for tilt-screen and a few buttons. I have and appreciate tilt-screen cameras, but compared to something like the G3′s articulated screen? For two hundred? Eh.
Oh, and the PM1 has a bigger screen than the PL3 (but same resolution).

2 years ago |I will choose EPL-3 if it have the thumb dial like GF-1 or EP-3, since neither EPL-3 nor EPM-1 have one then I choose EPM-1 over EPL-3…same guts, lower price.
