SLRmagic has a new Christmas present for Micro Four Thirds user! They announced a new 26mm f/1.4 lens on Twitter! As you know SLRmagic already has a lens with MFT mount (The 35mm f/1.4 which you can get here on eBay only.
Message to the anonymous source that “tried” to send me a picture: Can you send me the link to the image of the lens?

I’ve never heard of them before, but I’m very interested in buying one

3 years ago |What I really want for Xmas is some good rumors of the next m4/3 cameras from Pany and Oly and not tons of advertising.

3 years ago |Advertising????
So that is not a rumor for you? A new lens for MFT? if you don’t like SLRmagic no problem, but to say that I advertise them is really crazy…

3 years ago |I don’t think he meant advertising for SLRmagic. I think he meant your layout in general. The real estate for ads is more (or seems more) than rumors.
I like your site but I don’t respect your site due to this imbalance.
Apparently, I’m not the only one.

Olympus (maybe not Panasonic) really needs this advertising in order to increase sales. Increased sales will lead to the development of more m/43 cameras and lenses.
If this site, or any site that places Olympus ads suddenly stops doing so, then the cameras and lenses you are dying to learn about have less of a chance of seeing the light of day.
I think the ads are beneficial for everyone, and are bearable/not intrusive to the rest of the content of the site.

3 years ago |from the eBay listing for the 35mm….. “The editors choice as the lens with the highest price to quality ratio…..”
LOL! I’m sure they meant for it to be the other way around, unless it’s really expensive and makes crappy photos.

Though even if corrected, I think SLRmagic still has a long way catching up with the price of a pinhole lens

3 years ago |That is a cheap CCTV lens made in China, I bought it at US$10 on Sep 2009. it is just US$ 30 with C->m43 mount now. they just add a box and a cheap filter that’s it. But quite fun to play with. Now, I keep several with myself and gave my friends as gifts.

3 years ago |Steve Huff really likes this lens and its only $77 on eBay right now. I’m not a big fan of novelty lenses, but its certainly cheap enough, and slrmagic’s service is said to be good – so its not a huge investment. Maybe its something nice to have in your bag of tricks even if you only get a handful of usable shots from it.

3 years ago |Anyone know what the filter thread size is on these lenses? You can find new ones on ebay from the USA with a micro 4/3 mount for under $60 shipped.

This lens and the one that was used for 35/f1.4 were sold by the same people on ebay.
