Via mirrorlessforum.com (click here to read the post) we learned that Panasonic Japan officially has the Panasonic L10 and the Panasonic GH1

Editor’s note: We don’t expect the GF1 to be discontinued even we “suspect” a new GF camera will be announced.

“We don’t expect the Panasonic GF1 to be discontinued even we “suspect” a new GF camera will be announced.”
When do you suspect an announcement? Photokina? Sooner? Did you mean to type GF?

2 years ago |Hi PeeJay! The new GF camera will not replace the GF1 (like the E-PL1 did not replace the E-P2). It’s a ultra-compact camera with very minimal controls (but still veyr good usability). Bye!

2 years ago |They’re probably following the same pattern they did with the G1, following it with the mid-range G2 and low-end G10. Thus, we’d get a mid-range GF2 (built-in viewfinder and other upgrades to the GF1) and a low-end GF10 (smaller/simpler, to compete with the E-PL1 and other entry-level mirrorless cameras).

2 years ago |waiting for your little summary. did you predict that there will be two new gf like cameras? one is the slimer version of gf1 to beat nex3 and nex5 directly and the other hign-end one with internal view founder. And some media had a preview on the new panny camera in sweden. any new information? it will be really dispointing if they just anounce a marketing purpose new one without any revolution for beating nex on size.
