Pictures I have seen posted with 14mm side by side with 20mm show the 14mm is smaller so would be less expensive to produce hence very good for Pany to use as a kit lens. Yes the F2.5 speed is good news as Pany indicated they would make as fast as feasible in small size. Seems if go wider lens must be quite a bit bigger if fast..
I had hoped Pany would have rushed to get 14mm lens out for new model but as they didn’t produce another small one this time around that will be left to the GF2 this fall.
I thin the 100-300 from all accounts will be a significantly better lens than the present Oly 70-300 which is simply a reworked FF Sigma.not specifically designed or optimized for m4/3.
The article actually says that the 14mm f/2.5 will be released in the summer and the other two in autumn. Summer starts in June… Great to see it’s 2.5 in stead of the earlier 2.8 max aperture.

2 years ago |I got excited when you posted 100-300 f/4. But I double checked, and it should be f/4-5.6. (The same as the Oly 70-300.) Hope this helps.

2 years ago |Hmm… an f/2.5 aperture makes it stand out a little bit more from all the zooms that start at 14 mm. Good move.
