UPDATE2: It is almost sure that Sony will not join the MFT system. They will have a completely independent system and lens-mount.

4 years ago |The sensor will probably be APS-C but before we jump the bandwagon there is no clue whatsoever to whether this new camera will be a mirrorless design or not.

4 years ago |great news, competition is always beneficial for the consumer. I am always dubious of most product launched by Sony, they almost always try to release a proprietary system, will probably use some ultra-mini-memory-betaray-stick thing, but it would be nice if they adopted the m4/3 lens system and regular professional memory options.
