		<description>There&#039;s another option. The camera could have some kind of bellows that would expand to support regular K-mount lenses, and fold to keep the camera compact when using special K-mount lenses designed for the short flange-to-sensor distance.

This would provide the best of both worlds, and unlike regular bellows designed for macro you&#039;d only need an inch of movement (or even less), so it&#039;s very much possible.

		<description>Yes, if they make the flange-to-sensor distance the same as K mount, then they lose some of the advantages of mirror-less design. 

The following is all pure speculation: It seems very likely that Samsung&#039;s camera will mate to a K-mount adapter (as well as compatibility with many other adapters just like Âµ4/3). So it would make the most sense if Ricoh would copy the Samsung NX mount, making it usable with all of the above. Of course, that would require Ricoh to be working with Samsung, or to wait until after the Samsung camera is released. Alternatively, Ricoh could design their own thin body with a custom Ricoh mount and mate to a Ricoh K adapter - then it&#039;s not limited to K lenses although perhaps the K lenses would have the most AF and AE functionality.</description>

		<description>Using the K mount would imho only make sense if also the flange focal distance  is maintained. That would however not result in a compact camera. If Ricoh is really working on such a camera, it will compete in the field of DSLRs, only without a mirror.</description>
