First Olympus E-P1 autofocus test with firmware 1.1
Gearlog made an autofocus test with the new firmware 1.1. Their conclusion is that there are no remarkable improvements. Focus Numerique also made a test (french). Their conclusion: “In AF-C mode, the autofocus does seem more responsive and especially in video mode, the problem of pumping and loss of focus was not resolved“

3 years ago |I found that in S-AF mode 3 essentially no change in focus speed when pressing the AF/AEL button, *but* in S-AF mode 1 when pressing the shutter half way down the EP-1 now *does not* do a full focus making the refocus on current subject *much* faster, more than twice.
