First E-PL2 video with new converters (+compact camera patent design)
The video I posted above is the first made with the Olympus Pen EPL-2 with Macro , Fisheye and Wide-angle converters! Sadly you can’t find them in Stock right now
There is also a bunch of new E-PL2 tests at Pixelmania (dutch), Focus Numerique (french) and DCview (japanese). E-PL2 links to Amazon, Adorama, B&H, J&R, eBay.
If you are a registered 43rumors member and do own the E-PL2 feel free to add your rating: http://www.43rumors.com/cameras/olympus-e-pl2/#ratingandreviews
P.S.: Forum Olympus France posted a patented design of a new Olympus compact camera which looks very close to the new SZ-10.

2 years ago |the Macro is a +1 / +2 lens… but I think is worth (because of the worse macro ratio of the new m14-42). W and F don’t inspire me much… Fisheye does not give such an angle of view… and Wide…. mah

2 years ago |Oh my goodness, I can’t believe they actually did it! Conversion lenses for a normal zoom on an interchangeable lens camera!
But I have to say, the video looks extremely good, if he had not told us he was using those attachments, I would have never guessed. I’m still not convinced that still photo shooters are going to to take to these, but video artists / film makers could certainly make good use of them.
OK admin, I’ll have to go and buy you a set of these, and the new 14-42 MSC lens to mount them on.
I still don’t understand why they didn’t do something like this for the XZ-1….

2 years ago |You never would have guessed, because the entire thing is over-engineered for youtube.
I’d like to see stills.
Fisheye would be decent – it’s difficult to justify the $$$ for a dedicated fisheye, but macro is going to have to win me over – Why would I get their macro filter over something like the raynox?

2 years ago |The Macro also works for 40-150 and the 14-150 , the fisheye and wide-angle can only be used at the moment on the 14-42 MKII , the video is actually made for training sessions to show people the effect off the filters and how they work , as our all the videos that have been uploaded on that channel, I am thinking of setting a flicker page up to show people pictures , and there are a few stills in the video however they do pass by quickly and our compressed to video resolutions , I only had the filters for a few days so didn’t have much off a chance to take many pictures with them on but did find the wide angle handy when I went hill walking with it.
