Finally! The Sigma lens deals in Europe too!
Finally I can report a good deal for European readers too! Sigma lowered the price for both MFT lenses down to 99 Euro. There are so many stores offering the price feel free to comment this post to add links. Here are just soem examples:
19mm lens for 99 at Technikdirekt and plenty of eBay resellers (via Slidoo).
30mm lens for 99 at Technikdirekt and plenty of eBay resellers (via Slidoo).
EU deal reminder: Save up to 100 Euro on the superb Olympus 75mm f/1.8 lens at SRSmicrosystem on eBay UK.
Thanks Alex!

4 months ago |Its strange how many UK companies (camera and computer items) will not sell outside UK. (I often see “Will not post to Australia” on Ebay) It would seem that it is to difficult to organise. It must be a case of not wanting to work for the sale. Its not contractual obligations as looking around often finds some else selling to anyone.
Yet there are some that will accept orders from anywhere, and some even sell EX VAT.
For camera gear I have used Robert White ( http://www.robertwhite.co.uk ) and recommend them, ex vat and very reasonable post prices, quick response to questions.

Does anyone have experience with 19mm Sigma? How good is it compared to the Pana 20mm pancake?

4 months ago |Friends experience on e-pl3: A tiny teensy bit less sharp than the 20mm panny. seriously less CA and purple fringing than the panny, faster focusing, less noisy for video. Overall he prefers the sigma during most of the day, the panny only when he needs the f/1.7. Hope i was helpfull.

And, yes, 20mm panny is crisp, but CA makes me sad sometimes. This purple (or green) fringing can be easily removed with LR, but who wants to process every second picture…

4 months ago |Does this mean that Sigma have got the message that we want much faster glass from them, clearing the stock for new models?
Given that there is limited space in my camera bag for another lens I am more likely to save up for the F1.8-F1.4 lenses at around the same focal lengths. I appreciate the good pricing and that some will want to fill a slot in their lens line up with one of these, but for me, waiting a while and getting the brighter alternatives is the way to go.
