    Thanks for information!
But why only in the UK?

    • OMega

Probably a response to the normally high prices we in the UK have to pay for anything and I mean anything, almost everything is cheaper elsewhere.

      • NtT

That’s unfortunatel 100% correct… They are just trying to compensate the extremely high prices with those “free” gifts… But, at least, they are doing something 😉

      • Brod1er

Olympus have a particularly high pricing strategy in UK. That’s their choice. My choice was to buy Panasonic instead. Giving me a grip I won’t use will not change my mind.

fire sale on the ep5 already!

      @true homer
I wouldn’t call a 5% price drop a “fire sale” and we don’t know if it’s been instigated by Amazon or Olympus.

It is definitely not a fire sale but discounting products before they ar even available is not a good sign. The pricing of the E-P5 with EVF is still £1100 , I am not interested in any mFT that doesn’t have a built in EVF I am waiting on the OMD pro but with recent pricing I am beginning to get a bit worried about potential pricing .Excluding the very important size factor we are paying quite a lot for not a lot if the bottom line is image quality it is very easy to get better sensors in cameras with better AF often for less money, which unfortunately is a big thing to me lol.

  • jf

you can get the 75 mm for 719 euros ! here:http://www.mydigitaland.com/lens/olympus.html

  • NtT

That’s still about 1,050 euros for body only… And, don’t forget, that: “it usually dispatches in 1-3 months”… Cool offer…

  • Bollox

Why is there such a puny sensor in that huge overpriced cam?

  • f/0.00020

Pros need battery grip. Battery grip is for pros. Without battery grip you cannot be pro.

    • Monkey

Wrong. I happily shoot all day without a battery grip. The GH3 battery is good. Battery grip just adds unnecessary bulk for me.

    • Anonymous

I hope that was sarcasm. If serious, I can only laugh at someone who believes such a thing.

    • Sony Monster

Thom Hogan needs a battery grip. Battery grips are for Thom Hogan. Without a battery grip you are not Thom Hogan.

      :)
