2 years ago |Meh — Cameta camera has a refurb EPM1 at $299, and the 40-150 routinely sells used for $150.

2 years ago |I guess I can expect the E-PM1 to sell for $350 by summer time.

2 years ago |Yep, I recently bought the black E-PM1 and 14-42mm IIR lens refurbished from Cameta for $299. The camera looks brand new (lens too) and works perfectly.

2 years ago |I am really loving my E-PM1 and this is a great price. Only $50 more for a brand new one than what you would pay used/refurbished… I wish I had waited.
Can anyone hazard a guess whether or not the E-M5 will see similar drops in price after it has been out as long as the E-PM1?

2 years ago |Drop the new sensor into the E-PM2, give it an extra function button somewhere around the top left corner and the tilting screen, and I’m one happy bunny.

2 years ago |That would be a sweet combination; however, it might better describe the E-PL5. I don’t think a tilting screen fits the “mini” concept of the E-PMx line.

2 years ago |Yup, I guess that would be the next E-PL, not an E-PM.

2 years ago |I kind of don’t see point of maintaining the E-PL line. I’d rather almost small as possible body (E-PM, GX series etc) or something that’s a delight ergonomically to hold (E-P series, GH etc). I found the E-PL3 just awkward.
How much bulk does the OM-D 5 axis IBIS add? Is it possible to see it in a PM2 style package?

2 years ago |I’d be interested in adding the tilt screen to the PM line, but don’t care for mode dial. PL line seems expendable.

2 years ago |Agree – mode dials on small cameras are a pet peeve of mine. For the real estate, there are other features of camera I would rather fast access to (e.g. focus type, WB & ISO buttons, burst mode etc).
On the EM-5, I forget half the time that the screen tilts :/ but definitely a useful feature when I remember…
